In our family group chat, I've been asked not to post any #Trump / #MAGA-related comments or memes because some relatives have been routinely scrutinized upon re-entry, some are waiting their Green cards... possibly about the time to seriously forget about that and go back home.
The #US has added a level of authoritarian procedure in monitoring citizens' political speech to determine border treatment that even 1930s #Germany didn't have. Kudos. Soon #Russia, #China, and the US will be indistinguishable from each other.

@randahl we have an executive who seems to be able to shut down and send home entire executive departments with impunity, summarily shut down funded and lawful programs written into law, but the best congress can offer is to threaten FUTURE funding of DHS/ICE? The minority party needs to STOP insisting on playing only by the rules. The correlary to fighting fire with fire is fighting shit with shit. It hurts, but is it not warranted?

@randahl Let us also look at our own situation in Europe. How are far-right groups reacting in Denmark and elsewhere? In France, they welcome the ICE's methods, with some even saying that raids should be carried out to capture anyone who is not ‘in order’.
