You’ll find people with similar interests, make some friends, etc. use hashtags yourself for topics for which you wish to be found. And just generally explore and poke around. Filters and lists are so helpful too once your feed grows! Again. Welcome.

Since you’re brand new to the Fedi, I’d encourage you to look into using hashtags on your posts — to meet up with like-minded friends. Hashtags power the Fediverse, which functions without algorithms.
