The marketing people who have the say in these matters, still get to serve their imagined audience this way, so they can't use that old tired argument of why we shouldn't do the right thing for our societies and democracies.

If you're in a position of leadership this is a perfect opportunity to lead and show the way. Our representatives aren't put there to follow the herd passively
