The reason the US has to deal with this now is they let the Confederacy off with a slap on the wrist. Same thing with post-WW2 Germany, they made a few examples and let the rest of them go, because USians, authoritarian to the bone as always, thought they needed the apparatus to maintain control of the plebs. End result, fash degenerates who should have been kicked off the fucking planet for crimes against humanity got to remain in public offices in all branches of government, and to live long enough to shit into the brains of their children and grandchildren wholesale. In the case of Germany, only three generations later you won't be kicked in the teeth anymore for uttering insane Nazi bullshit. I.e., the very same crap is about to creep back out of the holes it was allowed to fester in.
Intend to end fascism? Gotta end all fascists, at least on a scale that makes all the rest crawl back into the closet for fear of being next, and never ever come out again. Blow a hole into their Nazi egos the size of our galaxy. Because apparently they don't learn from history, they need to experience for themselves. Plus I don't see how anyone could still reign in the Sturmabteilung apart from de-ICEing the streets with sheer force. As you claim rightly imho, the head honchos are desperate and will spare no expense, if you catch my drift. Somehow my inner ear is channeling a spontaneous Psy cover, "whack'em gangland style". @benroyce @randahl I want to agree with some of this and disagree with another part.
What could the democrats have done to, if not stop - SLOW WALK EVERYTHING.
There is a little know thing that Congress (both House & Senate) that states that any bill, or measure put in front they agree NOT to read it aloud, not to take time to review the committee notes (?), but to just vote on it when it's brought up. It takes 1 person to do that at the beginning of each day.
