        @AliceStollmeyer

        We especially cannot trust the oligarchs that bought a presidency for Trump or those that corrupted Congress & the Courts to keep him there.

                      As with Trump's attempt to become dictator-for-life, to reap billions...and stay out of prison...American oligarchs seem to have decided this is their best chance to overtly rule the world's most powerful govt. Enough with the one-dollar-one-vote practice, authorized by the Supreme Court. argument. They want direct rule. They are literally "aiming" to get it.

                        A list of the 100 largest individual contributors to federal campaigns and outside groups during the 2023-2024 election cycle, based on OpenSecrets data. These donors collectively contributed over $2 billion to influence American politics.

                        At least seven donors contributing approximately $425 million are documented pro-Israel lobbyists: Miriam Adelson ($148.3M) seeks US support for Israel’s annexation of the occupied West Bank and donated $25 million to a medical school in an illegal settlement to “strengthen the settlers” ; Haim Saban ($5.3M) states “I am a one-issue guy, and my issue is Israel” and lobbied against weapons conditions on Israel ; Reid Hoffman ($35.4M) spent $1.5 million defeating Cori Bush for calling for a ceasefire ; plus Paul Singer ($66.8M), Bernard Marcus ($9.4M), Howard Lutnick ($16.5M), and Michael Bloomberg ($64.3M).

                        These donors operate across both parties, lobby for unconditional military aid, and work to defeat any US lawmakers supporting #Palestinian rights or calling for enforcement of international humanitarian law.
