@benroyce @randahl I want to agree with some of this and disagree with another part.
What could the democrats have done to, if not stop - SLOW WALK EVERYTHING.
There is a little know thing that Congress (both House & Senate) that states that any bill, or measure put in front they agree NOT to read it aloud, not to take time to review the committee notes (?), but to just vote on it when it's brought up. It takes 1 person to do that at the beginning of each day.

@benroyce @randahl Only McConnell did that when Obama wanted to nominate a new Justice. He slow walked the entire process until the WH stopped trying.
Who in the Senate or the House (unsure of their procedures) had the actual nerve to do that for every piece of legislation since McConnell. NO ONE!!!
