I have tried several times in the past to write something longer about linguistic meaning, as well as the role it plays in our dealings with the world. I feel that in the current political and technological context, it is more and more important to understand our relation to #language to make sense of what is happening to us. But so far, I have always failed to get the writing going, for lack of time and/or organisation. So I have now decided to have a living draft on my website for this project. It will grow, shrink and change as time goes by, without any schedule. I hope it might be the key to one day get it done. Working title: “Meaningless – How the loss of language is reshaping the world.” The first bit of the prologue is there and ready to be continued.
