@SeanCasten I appreciate that you show some emotion and humanity in you posts, rather than just putting out a dry, official statement over each terrible thing happening in the country.

@SeanCasten just FYI, Jonathan Ross was 18 year ICE agent, firearms trainer, etc. There is no excuse besides ICE is a criminal organization.

@SeanCasten I want to hear about subpoenas. Of personnel records. Every one of these agents known and listed for testimony the moment Dems gain control.

I want to know Dems will be ready to act immediately. And I want those agents to know they will be held accountable the instant their protectors are gone.

              @SeanCasten
According to the NYT / Sienna poll from last week, only 63% of U.S. registered voters disapprove of “how ICE is handling its job”. I suppose in modern politics that counts as “vast majority”… But it is disheartening that 24% “strongly approve”.

I’m worried that with such numbers of people who can see what is happening in Minnesota and not be totally outraged, that this will never stop.

I am shocked and saddened by what happend.
The world is watching you all, don't allow the fascists to win.
And don't believe they don't have plans that go far beyond all that.
Question: why does Trump need to build a data center and bunker underneath the"ball room", which by now is pretty obviously what he is really doing?

We are feeling with you all, watching the shit show the US has become is hard to do, but the passion and courage of the people is heartening

@SeanCasten Yup. Said as it is. This should really create a mandate on the US public to force eviction of the deeply deeply corrupt Trump. And a clean out of the whole system.

Political systems are, strange to realise, public systems intended to serve all. Yet they get commandeered by vested interests in every country to one degree or other. In the US, the degree is deep into Fascist territory.

@SeanCasten if you think they are frightened, you are further out of touch than is acceptable. Go watch a video of sharks in a feeding frenzy - look at their dead eyes - now look at the administration, the former GOP and their private armed forces. That's not fear - it's hunger for blood.
                                  (apologies to the sharks)

@CuriousMagpie @SeanCasten The leaders of the House and Senate Democratic caucuses refused to whip the caucus to oppose funding. They downplayed it in statements to media. Both parties fund street executions. I'm sick of playing games. The federal government is acting way outside of the law, and the politicians are funding it.

@lemgandi @SeanCasten most of the shooting was done when he was already down. They killed him, and then they all unloaded.

The US government has declared war on its citizenry. That's where we are now. They're going to kill people until they're given the excuse to REALLY start killing people.

@zero @SeanCasten I hear you and I don’t disagree exactly, but I guess I’m cynical enough about human nature to believe that one will find about that level of support for violent authoratarians in every society. The trick is building a political system that keeps them out of power, instead of disproportionately *empowering* them, as the US system has done.

@CaymanPilot Well, let's start with the fact that Biden wasn't in office for another two weeks.

Let's go on with the fact that prosecutions began immediately on multiple levels. Just because we weren't aware of what was going on didn't mean nothing was.

And lastly, I'll point out that Trump could have campaigned and even maybe won from prison. Nothing in the law precludes it.
