En l'episodi d'avui de la meva sèrie #silentrEVolution parlem de pre-acondicionament de la batería 🔋
Que has de fer per aconseguir que el #vehicleelèctric carregui a la potencia desitjada?

In today's episode of my #silentrEVolution series, we are going to talk about battery pre-conditioning 👌🔋🎚️ I was struggling to explain my HPC charging session on the Alpine A290 GT, which I am currently doing a deep test on thanks to BYmyCAR Barcelona. And Marek Gutt-Mostowy just helped me with it. 💚 In Alpine's racing settings there are temperature "digital gauges" for: - brakes - motor - battery. Conveniently, you also have the external battery temperature 🌡️ on the same screen. Kiddo and wife don't appreciate me using the RCHG button on the steering wheel and as I have already made one of my famous "Programmer onboarding sessions to real life E-Mobility" feel more than just car sick 🤢, mixed with I live on real high up curvy mountain road... I arrived at my closest Zunder 400 kW charger with temperature values lower than a fascist's empathy meter. I had experienced the same inconvenience with a Renault Girona - Intercargirona Megane E-Tech on a Fastned charger near Paris. On my Zoe, back in the days, I have learned a technique to manually 🦶 warm up the battery consistent in saving some 🪫% to strongly accelerate and decelerate to get the Dashboard dark purple 🟣 in the last 2km before plugging in. In cold winters in Madrid it could mean saving 30 minutes as you could get the car to accept 21,9 kW instead of freezing at 11kW for double the time. The opposite is also the case, especially in an EV using passive air cooling. I once did Madrid-Barcelona in summer with only one intermediate charging stop in a 62 kWh Nissan Motor Corporation Leaf +. On the way back I did a two stop planning and I didn't win too much time, because the battery temperature already signed that charging would be better accompanied with a three course meal. My two cents: Know what you drive, to know how to drive so you can get the speed you want at the charger you choose. | 13 comments on LinkedIn
