@Repisa te descargaste un .rpm, no? ese es el tipo de paquete que se usa en distribuciones como fedora. para linux mint tendrias que ir a por un paquete .deb (de debian, en la que se basa ubuntu y mint) o tirar de terminal.
Comprueba tambien que usas 64bits y no Aarch64
