@CoolerPseudonym Yeah comparing page lengths, looks like they cut 30ish pages for the abridged? Possibly more if the academic commentary stuff they add for the series is included in the listed page count, but still.

@wlukewindsor Okay I might try to find a different version then. The abridged is 304 pages compared to 336, seems like an odd decision based on that alone. Thanks!

@hisaac It's a very abstract artsy sort of movie, like almost in the same vein as Koyaanisqatsi but with some narration. So, if you're not expecting a traditional movie, yes! I'm also an absolute J贸hann J贸hannsson (and Tilda Swinton) fangirl, so I'm completely, 110% biased.

I see there's an abridged version coming out later this year as part of MIT Press鈥檚 Radium Age series, not sure if being abridged is a good thing?
