Last week the Dongfeng Box charged 10-80% in 42 minutes. Well done to those who guessed correctly. You win a potato 🥔.
This week I'm charging the new IM6. Place your bets on how quickly this one charges!

Took an Uber which turned out to be an electric Omoda E5.
Took an Uber which turned out to be an electric Omoda E5. Driver says he absolutely loves it and has done more than 35,000 km in 8 months trouble (and petrol) free. That's electric cars for you. Love hearing these stories.

Working on getting a walk-through video of Everything Electric uploaded today, but here's a sneaky clip of me being a host on a panel show with some very knowledgeable, very friendly... uh... parasites?

I got to test drive & review the new Dongfeng Box, a battery powered city car with 319 km of range, bucketloads of gadgets (including V2L!) for $29,990.
I got to test drive & review the new Dongfeng Box, a battery powered city car with 319 km of range, bucketloads of gadgets (including V2L!) for $29,990. It's good, but as you can see, it's not perfect.

Been far too long since I've had the time to work on the EV conversion.
Been far too long since I've had the time to work on the EV conversion. I've been flat out (so has welding legend and fabricating genius Bob the Builder). Last thing we did was install the Nissan Leaf accelerator pedal. Looks pretty sweet in there.
Providing I survive Everything Electric in Melbourne this weekend I want to get back in the workshop to get this thing running under its own battery power. We're not too far off either. Got to assemble a battery box & connect it all up, then install the Battery Management System, then sort out the speedometer, refresh the brakes, then it's certification time!
Expect to see this thing zipping around the streets of NZ soooooooon. 😁 -

Just got the test results back from the lab revealing the new Leapmotor B10 to have an impressive PSC of 79. What's noteworthy is that this demonstrates a 16.17% increase of tuber storage over the larger Leapmotor C10.
