    "Nige? Oh, he's that weird kid who likes music more than sport or super heroes"

    I'm a composer and recording artist and... mostly an alright kinda geeza 😊 Primary 'playing' instrument is guitar (since a previous century) but I play enough keys, drums and bass to write for them.

    Links to my 'stuff of wonder' in the jolly old 'About' tab. Please feel free to rummage with gusto. I don't like genres so will leave that right there.

    I'm a he, him ... so far.

      @cibersheep

      Well the ones recently were An Unkindness of Ghosts - Rivers Solomon, Medusa Uploaded (and sequel) - Emily Devenport, Theory of Bastards - Audrey Schulman and The Half Life of Valery K - Natasha Pulley

      None of them are 'gentle' in that old fashioned 'feminine' stereo typical sense, but all have great depth, and the original concepts, plots and characterisation are the major part throughout.

      Just IMO obviously!

      (Natasha Pulley's debut The Watchmaker of Filigree Street is fab too)

      Not meaning to be an armchair psychologist but... true to say that I have struggled to find new SciFi/speculative fiction by male authors that don't just become tales of violence (aka 'action') with 'goodies & baddies' etc. (zzzz).
