@randahl we have an executive who seems to be able to shut down and send home entire executive departments with impunity, summarily shut down funded and lawful programs written into law, but the best congress can offer is to threaten FUTURE funding of DHS/ICE? The minority party needs to STOP insisting on playing only by the rules. The correlary to fighting fire with fire is fighting shit with shit. It hurts, but is it not warranted?

@randahl Let us also look at our own situation in Europe. How are far-right groups reacting in Denmark and elsewhere? In France, they welcome the ICE's methods, with some even saying that raids should be carried out to capture anyone who is not ‘in order’.

The reason the US has to deal with this now is they let the Confederacy off with a slap on the wrist. Same thing with post-WW2 Germany, they made a few examples and let the rest of them go, because USians, authoritarian to the bone as always, thought they needed the apparatus to maintain control of the plebs.
