Agree that Fediverse is not a solution without problems. Still, decentralised and open solutions are more resilient than centralised; Wikipedia celebrates 25th anniversary as a free, open and decentralised (regarding content contribution) solution.

I want to agree but the problem would be the same – centralized social media is always vulnerable for those in control.Fediverse would be much more resilient since there is not one large owner that can throw it over at will.
