@wsslmn when i switched from cable to 4-5G i had to rearrange my router, so I switched it all off 'for the moment'. (No home assistant here)
Now .... Many years later they are still offline.. 😅😅 and the house is running like clockwork!

Home assistant proves that it is not necessary (and not even wanted*) to have the data stored online.

Some apps (like smart home applications) drive on data scraping and won't work on an other os by choice.

@Fietsbel my Fairphone runs normal Android.
But an important reason to buy is to be able to switch to e/os later.😉
An alternative os was on my old phone not possible.

The apps I need seems to work on e/os. Didn't come to switching to e/os yet. 😇

@BuyFromEU @wsslmn as you can repair a Fairphone very easy yourself, the total cost of ownership ia very reasonable. Especially for companies that can make a big difference when they can repair 'in-house'.

... And repairing 'in-house' can keep the phone operational longer.
